The queue

Meals and extras
Meals, sizes, sauces and extras are set in BeezBO and reused on the kiosk and at the POS. The kiosk suggests add-on products; their effect on basket size should be measured in your own restaurant.
Preparation
Kiosk, POS and web orders join the same BeezKitchen queue, sorted by status, with their source and a timer. Several kitchen screens stay in sync.
The wait
BeezDisplay shows the numbers of orders in preparation and ready. Customers know where their order stands without asking at the counter, and a promotional area fills the wait.

Which self-ordering kiosk for a fast food restaurant?

Does the kiosk replace counter staff?

No. BeezKiosk adds a self-service ordering point; staff keep welcoming customers, giving advice and handing over orders.

Does the kiosk increase average basket size?

Add-on product suggestions are available, but no increase is guaranteed: it depends on your menu and customers. Measure it before and after a pilot.

Can customers pay by card at the kiosk?

Kiosk payment depends on the hardware chosen and is scoped with the Beez360 team. At the counter, BeezPOS sends the amount to the integrated payment terminal, with no re-entry.

Can I use several kitchen screens?

Yes. Synchronization between several kitchen screens is one of BeezKitchen’s features. The number of screens depends on your stations.

Are delivery platform orders received?

Not yet: delivery platform integration is under development in BeezBO and BeezPOS. Your direct online orders can already go through BeezC&C.
